Johny Johnson from India is studying on the MBA Business Management in Global Food Industries at the Royal Agricultural College. He tells us about his lecturers, the college campus and life in Cirencester.
"I came to this college last year on October 2nd to pursue the MBA in Global Food Industries course. From the moment I arrived this college on my first day I was in love with the charming and friendly atmosphere of the RAC. I received plenty of help among the students and college staff which made me feel very at home.
I had an excellent experience with Royal Agricultural College, you can’t find better lecturers who really care about you. The lecturers all take the time to know you and help you when you need it. They really want their students to succeed not only in their chosen field but also in life.
Cirencester is also a place where you can easily find a part-time job. I am currently doing a part-time job in the local NHS hospital in Cirencester which is a 10 minute walk from the college which I am enjoying.
The college accommodation, food, clubs, international students union, sports and extra curricular activities are beyond my dream. The caring people combined with the old college atmosphere are great. For me, studying in this multicultural environment is priceless.
I learnt not only about the chosen field, but also a great deal more. I learned to take care of myself, I learned to communicate with others and basically it drew me out of my shell as I was very shy when I started here. It gave me the confidence I needed. I would highly recommend my heavenly college to any young students contemplating looking forward to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD studies at the Royal Agricultural College."
